Matt Raydo - President & CEO
Matt has extensive experience in business development and strategy. Matt worked in the financial and staffing industries for six years prior to founding Valiant Solutions. His business experience and natural leadership ability have placed Valiant Solutions on a path of positive growth. Matt takes great pride in infusing the qualities of hard work, dedication, reliability and trustworthiness into every aspect of Valiant’s business.
Matt is a graduate of the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. He spent 4 years as a member of the Maryland varsity basketball team under Coach Gary Williams where he was widely respected for his positive attitude and perseverance.
Matt has his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is also active in AFCEA and several University of Maryland organizations including the Terrapin Club, M Club, Alumni Association and the Smith School of Business.
Matt lives in Cary, NC with his wife Shea.
Everett Daviage - Vice President & COO
Everett joined Valiant Solutions in May 2006 and has 16 years of progressive leadership experience in government and telecommunications consulting with Accenture, Housing and Urban Development, and Verizon. He is primarily responsible for business development and account management.
Everett is a dynamic, results-oriented professional with a background in identifying business and technical issues, developing actionable recommendations, and implementing solutions. He has demonstrated significant software implementation experience extending from feasibility analysis to production rollout and support.
Everett possesses broad technical knowledge in addition to strong business process, analytical and leadership skills. Everett has extensive experience partnering with executive business clients to identify opportunities and deliver high quality solutions.
Everett created and directs Valiant Soccer, a program for disadvantaged children from local area day care centers. The program runs 12 weeks during the fall and spring each year and teaches children between the ages of three and five basic soccer fundamentals while encouraging teamwork and fun.
Everett has lived in the Washington, D.C. area his entire life and graduated from The University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Business.
Natalie Voight - Business Development
Natalie Voight joined Valiant Solutions in December 2008 as a member of our Business Development Team. Her 10 years of business experience includes work in the government sector with both SAIC and L3 Communications, where she provided management leadership, training coordination and service delivery expertise.
Natalie has strong organizational and analytical skills and is committed to providing innovative solutions to her clients. She is a member of Toastmasters International, AFCEA, and DC Young Professionals. Natalie is a graduate from the University of Maryland and speaks Spanish, Lithuanian and French.
Natalie currently lives in Arlington, VA and in her spare time enjoys dance, traveling and social sports leagues.
Leo Trendowicz - Director of Recruiting
Leo Trendowicz joined Valiant Solutions in January 2006 and is a Sr. Account Manager with eight years of business experience. Leo uses his strong organization and communication skills to meet and exceed the expectations of Valiant’s clients and prides himself on his dependability and analytical skills.
Leo has a wide range of skills including hardware/software support and repair, help desk support and management, on-site IT support, project management, programming in C/C++/HTML/JavaScript/PHP/Java, database installation/programming- SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and networking including Servers, Workstations, Printers, Routers, Firewalls, TCP/IP .
Leo lives with his wife Jen in Raleigh, NC.
Dena Bloms - Technical Recruiter
Dena Bloms joined Valiant Solutions in August 2007 and is a Technical Recruiter with 13 years of business experience including several years in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology industries. Dena’s strong organization skills are critical in her consistent success in finding quality resources for Valiant’s key clients. She is also an intricate part of the proposal writing team.
Dena volunteers at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh, NC helping high school children with confirmation classes, mission trips and fundraisers.
Dena is a graduate of Worcester State in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She currently lives in Garner, NC with her husband Kent and son Keaton.
Catherine Buchanan - Technical Recruiter
Catherine Buchanan joined Valiant Solutions in March 2008. She is a Technical Recruiter with ten years of business experience to go with her strong organizational and process management skills. Catherine is part of Valiant’s proposal writing team and is known for her ability to analyze situations and then develop and implement processes to ensure efficiency.
Catherine graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also is a founding member of Giving Galas, a charity group that raises money annually for those living with cancer.
Catherine and her husband Jason live in Wake Forest, NC and enjoy wake boarding, snowboarding, and spending time with their son Caden.
Jessica Ryther - Recruiter
Jessica Ryther joined Valiant Solutions in July 2006 and initially was responsible for recruiting and coordinating candidate travel. She now focuses on building a database of qualified network technicians that reside nationwide and/or are willing to travel 100% of the time for contracts across the world. Jessica’s strength lies in her unique ability to manage and build rapport with a wide range of contractors.
Jessica’s volunteer experience includes helping rebuild one of Africa’s only clinics that was badly damaged by fire. Previous volunteer experience includes providing medical care to children in remote villages and working in a prison teaching life skills to women.
Jessica lives in Kansas City with her husband Dana and their children Adrian and Adam. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading, participating in church activities, and supporting Kansas Jayhawks Basketball. Jessica is also the sister of Valiant’s President and CEO, Matt Raydo.
Steve Raydo - Administrator
Steve Raydo joined Valiant Solutions in August 2006 and has 20 years of business experience. He provides several administrative and accounting-related services, including payroll, human resources, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Steve routinely applies his strong business experience towards developing ideas that support Valiant’s continued growth.
In his spare time, Steve serves as a Financial Deacon at his church, participates in mission trips to help build homes for the homeless, provides personal financial counseling, and coaches his kids baseball and basketball teams.
Steve lives in Kansas City with his wife Rachel and their three children Haley, Kayla and Nate. Steve is also the brother of Valiant’s President and CEO, Matt Raydo.
